ATLANTA Drive Systems is actively monitoring the novel coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak globally and in North America. We are closely following the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health authorities to continuously monitor the situation and evaluate our operational response plans.
Our preparedness efforts include providing ongoing guidance and resources to our employees to mitigate the spread of acute respiratory illness, lessen the potential impact of COVID-19 in our facilities and maintain business operations. At this time, we do not anticipate any disruptions to our ability to provide products and services as a result of the outbreak.
On March 21, 2020, New Jersey Governor Murphy signed executive order #107 and #108 for COVID-19 containing new standards for businesses which supersede previous announcements. Since we are an industrial business who works with the manufacturing sector, we will remain open for business. We will continue with our plan to have two teams of employees to minimize the number of on-site employees, with one team working while the other works from home. We will also continue to follow the recommended “social distancing” guidelines set forth by the CDC.
Due to the current travel ban from Europe, the availability of air freight shipments has been severely reduced and may impact future delivery times. However, we continue to have a robust inventory here in New Jersey to reduce delivery times. If you have an order that is impacted, our team will contact you to determine the best path forward and discuss alternative shipping methods or products.
We must all work together to solve the unique challenges we will face in the coming months, and we are committed to maintaining our high standard of quality and customer service. We will continue to provide any relevant updates as this situation evolves.
